Broadway, Darley Abbey

(Redirected from Broadway)

I remember working on the Broadway houses when I started work in 1953. I was an apprentice to my father and worked on the roof to the entrance - the work had to be to the highest standard to be accepted. The estate was opened by the Queen when it was completed.
